What is our purpose of existence as a church?

Exalting Jesus Christ (Upward)
As His followers, we are called to enjoy and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in an intimate relationship. CBCM seeks to nurture an environment where we can grow in our worship, trust, and obedience to Jesus.

Edifying the Believers (Inward)
CBCM is not a building or just an organization, but we are a community of Jesus followers growing in our love and service for God and for each other. CBCM seeks to help everyone to mature in our faith, and to proactively care for and serve one another.

Evangelizing the World (Outward)
The Lord Jesus calls all His followers to actively participate in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), which is to help people from every tongue, tribe, and nation to be reconciled to God, and to mature as followers of Jesus through the Gospel. CBCM seeks to inspire, train, and mobilize everyone to carry out the Great Commission both locally and globally.

What are our main areas of ministry focus for the next five years?

Developing more godly and missional servant leaders and coworkers
We are called to be Christ-like (a strong devotion for God that results in holy, humble, loving, bold, and missional living) in all areas of our lives and in our service to God. At CBCM we will intentionally work on developing and multiplying more Christ-like servant leaders.

Nurture greater growth of Young Adults and Young Families
We are called to nurture the next generations to become healthy Jesus followers and leaders. At CBCM we will proactively disciple and mentor young adults and young families to empower them to embrace and thrive in their unique and vital roles at their life stages in the church and the world, to both be the future and the now of CBCM.

Achieve healthy intergenerational synergy
We are called to foster a community where every generation feels welcomed, cared for, and valued, and healthy partnership between generations is firmly established. CBCM will seek to help all generations to understand, accept, appreciate, affirm, and serve one another, and serve together to fulfill God's mission.

我們要在生活中的各層面以及事奉中活出基督的樣式- 對神積極委身而帶出聖潔、謙卑、有愛心、有勇氣和使命感的生活。在 CBCM，我們將有意識地致力於培養並倍增更多有基督樣式的僕人領袖。

培養青年人和年輕家庭在質量與數量的增長
我們要培育下一代成為身心健全、跟隨耶穌的門徒與領袖。在 CBCM我們將積極地門訓並指導青年人與年輕家庭，幫助他們在教會與社會中，在他們的人生階段的角色裡發揮獨特而重要的功能，使他們不只是 CBCM 的未來，更是現在的重要部分。
